With over 30 years of proven leadership in sales, marketing, and business intelligence, Lorin Bristow has consistently driven transformational growth for mission-driven SaaS companies and organizations in the SLED (state, local, and education) technology sector. A visionary leader, Lorin’s strategic approach to revenue generation has resulted in significant achievements, including leading companies to sustained growth and recognition on the Inc. 5000 list.

His career highlights include overseeing consistently high growth rates in multiple SaaS companies that led to successful acquisitions. He served as a senior consultant to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Integrated Public Alerts and Warnings System (IPAWS) program, helping spread adoption of new alerting technologies across 90%+ of the nation’s population. He co-authored the acclaimed sales book Seven Myths of Selling to Government, and was co-host of the “5 ½ Minutes to Sales Superiority” podcast. He is also a patent holder for a mobile communications technology. Lorin is a hands-on, collaborative leader who thrives in building high-performing teams and driving positive organizational change.

Previously, Lorin has held senior leadership roles with leading organizations such as Dialogic (Airbus), Send Word Now, One Call Now, and BOLDplanning. At Optima, he oversees the integrated marketing and sales functions for B2C, B2G, and B2G edtech markets.

Lorin holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a BBA in Marketing from Harding University.

Outside of work, Lorin is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to advance education and community preparedness. He also enjoys fishing and the occasional beach walk with his wife Alecia.
